Ayudando Latinos A Soñar or ALAS is a nonprofit organization that began as a grassroots program in 2011, and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The organization was born from the desire to help children and their families to feel proud of their identity and culture and to amplify their voices. ALAS Founding Board of Directors continues to work tirelessly to pursue this vision in what has become a communal space of support, honoring the cultural strengths that thrive in our
multicultural and Latino coastal community.

Mercy Housing is redefining affordable, low-income housing. It is a national nonprofit organization that is working to build a more humane world where poverty is alleviated, communities are healthy, and all people can develop their full potential.
Mercy Housing is one of the nation’s largest affordable housing organizations. We participate in the development, preservation, management and/or financing of affordable, program-enriched housing across the country. We acquire and renovate existing housing, as well as develop new affordable rental properties.
Mercy Housing's Casa De la Misión, in the Mission District of San Francisco, provides 44 permanently supportive housing apartments for seniors.
